Research Interests: Catalysis, Kinetics, and Chemical Reactors

Catalysis, kinetics, and chemical reactor analysis are Professor Rice's primary research interests, but he has also conducted research on numerous topics, for example, pollution abatement, micromixing and fluidization, He continues to be interested in catalyst characterization, techniques for preparing 'novel' catalysts and deactivation / reactivation of supported metal catalysts.
