Clemson University has a five-year plan focused on quality, and we're hiring. Clemson will appoint more than 300 new faculty and staff members over the next five years to replace retiring employees and to grow selected emphasis areas.

In the past five years, Clemson has more than doubled external research funding, raised the academic profile of the student body, increased retention and graduation rates, launched high-profile economic development initiatives and earned national accolades, including being named TIME magazine's Public College of the Year.

Clemson is a public land-grant university that also offers an outstanding quality of life. Located in a college-town setting on the shores of Lake Hartwell, adjacent to its own 17,500-acre forest, Clemson is within easy driving distance of mountains, beaches and urban areas such as Atlanta and Charlotte.

Current enrollment is approximately 14,000 undergraduates and 3,500 graduate students. The University's five colleges offer a broad undergraduate curriculum as well as more than 100 graduate programs, some of which are located at off-campus research and education centers throughout the state of South Carolina.
