Step 1: New Employee Orientation Presentation

All new Employees are required to complete this section of New Employee Orientation their first day of work.


Step 2: Benefits Orientation Presentation

All new Employees are required to complete this section of New Employee Orientation prior to meeting with benefits counselors.

Note:

  • A Counselor will not be able to assist you until you have viewed the online presentations and submitted the New Employee Orientation Acknowledgement (Step 6 of Orientation).
  • State guidelines require you to enroll in your benefits within 30 days of your hire date.

Step 3: OSHA Mandated Portable Fire Extinguisher Training

All Clemson University Employees are required to complete this course annually.

This course can be taken on a scheduled date by the CU Fire Department or it can be taken online at your convenience. Please see options below:

Once you complete this course, we will update your training records to indicate that you have completed this course requirement. You must acknowledge that you have viewed training during Step 6 of Orientation.
