Student Projects

I am working with students who are doing research projects in a variety of different aspects of hydrogeology.  Current projects as of Dec. 2000 include

  • Interaction between ground water and surface water:  Susan Kelly
  • Effects of heterogeneities on pumping tests:   Vasi Passinos
  • Characterization of a fractured rock aquifer at the Clemson Well Field:  Marc McGowan
  • Air flow to a flat-lying hydraulic fracture:  Graham Bradner
  • Field characterization of the propagation of a hydraulic fracture:  Jim Richardson
  • Effects of a hydraulic fracture on water flow in saprolite:  Cindy Agee
  • Determining the hydraulic conductivity of a stream bed: Kate Souders
  • Analysis of the displacements of fractures during pumping:  Todd Schweisinger
  • Development of a slow-release oxidant:  Chapman Ross
