Clemson University, located on the I-85 corridor between Atlanta and Charlotte and surrounded by the beauty of South Carolina's Upstate, offers a top-notch education to some of the brightest minds today. Clemson has grown into a competitive research university with high national rankings, producing scholars who become the leaders, thinkers and entrepreneurs of the future. Students and faculty alike come here to engage in the rich "Clemson Experience," which starts with strong academics, fulfilling social opportunities and a lot of support from fellow Tigers.
Visitor Programs’ mission is simply "to grow the Clemson family." We are here to provide guidance to guests of our campus, to engage prospective students through the tour program and to inform new members of the Clemson community on the University's offerings. Continually seeing the campus through the eyes of our visitors is a critical role in planning future development and access to current facilities. In the Class of 1944 Visitors Center we work with approximately 45,000 visitors each year. However, that is only a portion of the more than estimated one million people who come to our campus each year to participate in sports, the arts, the gardens and more.
Tours are provided by a team of volunteer student tour guides and the front desk is staffed by undergraduate students who were first trained as tour guides. The guide program functions as a student club, with an executive board, regular meeting times and a ruling constitution.
We invite you to visit Clemson and to experience for yourself all that it has to offer.
