The grass is always greener in South Carolina

With over one million acres of lawns, 380 plus golf courses, and over 800 sports fields, South Carolina has a lot of turf to cover. Thankfully, the Clemson University Turfgrass Program exists to support the turfgrass industry. The program is conducted by an interdisciplinary group of faculty in the areas of horticulture, entomology, soils and plant sciences. Faculty and staff are located at the main campus at Clemson, as well as the Pee Dee Research and Education Center in Florence, SC.
