Facility Overview

Located 3.5 miles north of I-85 on SC 187, the Clemson EM Facility is uniquely positioned to provide best microscopy and analytical services to faculty and industrial collaborators. With access to some of the most advanced and unique instrumentation, our goal is to forge working relationships with a wide array of industrial sectors and foster innovation in the university’s leadership in nanotechnology, toxicology, geochemistry, biological and materials research.
As a multi-user facility we work with clients from aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, textile, electronics, environmental and medical industries. We also provide tools for advanced sample preparation as well as staff expertise and advice for both industry partners and academia. The Clemson EM facility is well placed to provide significant support for research efforts by pairing affordable costs and minimum wait times.
