ABOUT OUR LOGO:

 

The plant pictured within the "tiger paw" is the Persistent Trillium, (Trillium persistens) which is a local endemic. This means that the species is only found within the general area of Clemson,SC. The species is known from one small ravine along a tributary of the Savannah River in Oconee County, South Carolina and is also found in the Tallulah/Tugaloo River drainage in Georgia. This early spring flowering wildflower is currently considered Federally Endangered.
