	Thomas R. Scott, a professor in the animal and veterinary sciences department at Clemson University, has been named interim dean of the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences. 	Dr. Dale Layfield is the coordinator of Distance Education for the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences. He earned his a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Agriculture in Agricultural Education from the University of Florida. He later earned his PhD in Agricultural Education and a minor in distance education from Penn State. His primary role is to assist faculty in the development of online courses and programs. Specifically, the recommendation of pedagogical approaches and specific educational technologies to maximize effectiveness and interactivity in online delivery programs. 	Dr. Joseph Culin is the Interim Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies for the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences. Dr. Culin holds a Bachelors degree in Biology from Eastern College, a Masters degree in Entomology and Applied Ecology from the University of Delaware and a Ph.D in Entomology from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Culin has a breadth of experience in research and graduate programs as a faculty member and in his administration as the former chair of the Department of Entomology, Soils and Plant Sciences at Clemson. 	Dr. Ted Whitwell is the Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs for the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Plant Science from the University of Tennessee at Martin and both a Master's degree in Agronomy and a Ph.D. in Crop Science from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Whitwell has a good understanding of the curriculum and academic affairs systems of Clemson as well as the value of the many aspects of our student experience. 	Leigh Dodson is the financial officer for the College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Life Sciences. She acts in the role of budget center representative to the campus. She is responsible for the financial and personnel management functions of the college.
