Understanding the molecular structure of biological systems has made possible immense potential for a greener, healthier, sustainable and more prosperous future. Breakthroughs in science and technology are transforming the world around us daily and will continue to define the 21st century. Our students will be challenged to be a part of these transformations while they are here at Clemson and throughout their professional careers. For agriculture, forestry and the life sciences, these transformations are occurring in four major areas:
Our graduates will be problem-solvers, creative thinkers, decision-makers, communicators, leaders and entrepreneurs. They will understand the meaning of global citizenship and public service.
