Our Mission

Clemson's Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (AES), part of the College of Agriculture, Forestry, and Life Sciences, provides unified education, research, and public service programs that address public needs in agribusiness, agricultural education, agricultural mechanization, agronomy, entomology, environmental sciences, horticulture and turfgrass, plant pathology, and soil and water sciences.

CLEMSON — Clemson University’s  Student Organic Farm ranks among the best college farms in the nation, according to the journal Best College Reviews. The journal ranks Clemson’s farm ninth out the nation’s top 20 university farms, above those at Yale University, Duke University, the University of New Hampshire and others.
