Agricultural and Biological Engineering

The Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering is an academic unit of professionals who discover, adapt and disseminate knowledge and technologies. The focus is to enhance and sustain human and natural resources by integrating the basic biological and physical science and engineering principles with food, fiber and environmental systems. Our department is made up of three program areas: Biosystems Engineering, Agricultural Mechanization and Business, and Agricultural Education. The Biosystems Engineering program offers two concentration areas: Applied Biotechnology and Natural Resources and Environment. The Agricultural Education program offers three areas of emphasis: Teaching, Education, and Leadership.
