Students create a marketing plan for their assigned horses by designing a video and a flyer. Students are responsible for the complete care of their horse including riding the horse 3-5 times a week, grooming them, and management practices such as mucking out stalls, feeding, deworming, hoof care, and vaccinations. Students will research the lineage of their horses and determine the discipline best suited for the horse based on the performance of its ancestors. As a team, students will market the Clemson University Horse Show Team and the Clemson University Horse Program. Students will also market these programs by representing them at various events in the Southeast and around the US.
