Applicants accepted into any of our graduate programs must meet three criteria:
1. Meet the academic qualifications listed in the website.
2. Demonstrate financial support either from internal or external sources and/or be self supported.
3. Commitment of a faculty member to act as the major advisor for the chosen degree.
Since faculty acquire research funding throughout the year,
applications are left open for faculty to
review year-round to choose
students from the applicant pool. Thus no deadline for acceptance exists
and student can be accepted into the program prior to the start of any
semester upon meeting all
three criteria listed above.
students must adhere to VISA deadlines set by the US government and
International Office at Clemson. If you have not received notification
of acceptance or rejection your application is in the graduate applicant
file for faculty to consider when and if they have funding or space in
their laboratories for additional students.
