Research Activities
The main research focus of my lab is genomics and biotechnology with hardwood species. We are interested in developing yellow-poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera L.) as a new tree model research system for evolutionary and comparative genomics, developmental biology, and plant physiology. We are also interested in genetic improvement of economic-valuable traits via genetic engineering in hardwood species.
