Profile

Jackie is a Horticulture Extension Agent with a focus on urban horticulture. She offers programs on ornamental horticulture, turfgrass management, community gardening and pesticide safety. She advises specialty crop growers, landscape professionals, greenhouse and nursery producers as well as home owners.

Extension and Outreach

You might recognize Jackie from her frequent appearances as a panelist on Making It Grow!, SCETV’s award-winning gardening program. She also writes the Weed of the Month for Clemson's Home Garden Information Center In the Garden Blog. She enjoys helping clients trouble-shoot their insect, disease and nutritional problems in lawns, landscapes and gardens and coordinating the Master Gardener volunteer training program.
