Passionate about stewardship and education, Terasa earned a B.S. in Biology and an M.Ed. in Secondary Education from Coastal Carolina University. She has over 15 years of experience in science education in both formal and informal environments. Terasa writes a monthly newspaper column for the Morning News and is the chat room moderator for SC ETV's award-winning gardening program, Making It Grow! Terasa holds several certifications including: Master Naturalist,Certified Stormwater Plan Reviewer, Certified Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control Inspector, and Residential Rain Garden Professional.
In her role as an Extension Agent, Terasa serves as coordinator of the Florence Darlington Stormwater Consortium, a regional collaborative of Clemson’s Carolina Clear program. In this role, she is responsible for providing Pee Dee residents with public education and involvement opportunities that focus on water resource stewardship.
