Profile
Victoria is a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in journalism and sociology. Her professional life has been comprised of marketing and public relations positions in Charleston, SC where she worked at the Charleston Area Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Charleston County Parks & Recreation Commission. While her husband pursued a law degree in Florida, Victoria was fortunate to be hired as a Walt Disney World Resort print publicist. More recently, she served as Administrative Coordinator for the Institute of Biological Interfaces of Engineering at Clemson University and from 2010-2024 she was simultaneously contracted as Managing Editor of the Journal of Histotechnology in which she copyedited scientific manuscripts, oversaw peer reviews and managed manuscript production. Victoria joined the Advanced Plant Technology Program in 2014 as Administrative Manager and provides administrative guidance for daily operations of the APTP including serving as liaison with Grant Support Services in coordinating grant proposals, managing departmental budgets and human resources, and assisting with all special projects.
