Visit with the College of Agriculture, Forestry & Life Sciences

Visiting in the Spring

Destination Clemson

The College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences invites prospective students and families to visit campus and learn more about the programs available for undergraduates! Due to the large number of visitors each Spring, we offer a structured Friday afternoon visitation program in conjunction with the University-wide campus walking tour. Destination Clemson allows prospective students and their guests to visit the majors, faculty and staff within the college as well as attend breakout sessions and meet other prospective as well as current students!

Please note that the Destination Clemson program does conflict with the Visitors Center's 1pm campus tour.  While we recommend the 9am or 11am walking tour, registration for that tour is NOT included and is required.

Personalized Visits

Perfect for high school juniors, seniors and community college or transfer students who are preparing to apply to Clemson! Each student and their guests will have a personal appointment with an advisor and an opportunity to ask their unique questions. You may know the exact major that is intended or may just have general interests and need some guidance.  Either way, this is a great way to discover Clemson!

Important Notes:
* Requests should be made 2 weeks in advance
* Available Monday - Friday only
* No visits will be made during University Holidays

Special Events

Throughout the year, several special events have a focus for prospective students.

CAFLS Tailgate - This event is a huge gathering for alumni, students, and friends.  This is a great way to see all the programs featured as well as to take in a home football game.  Dates are announced each year in July or August.

Fall Receptions - Each Fall semester, we host several receptions for prospective students and their guests. These receptions are drop-in style and held in conjunction with university wide programming for prospective students.

Summer Programs - Clemson university hosts numerous camps and schools throughout the summer months.  Several of those highlight the majors, careers, and/or industries that are a part of this college.  You can learn more HERE.
