Please provide your PowerPoint presentation at the time of registration on a USB drive or CD. A conference representative located at the registration desk will load your PowerPoint presentation onto a computer and return your USB drive or CD. Please include your last name in the file name of your presentation (For example: G. Gallagher would submit the file “Gallagher.ppt”). If you are providing more than one presentation, please indicate in the file name which session in addition to your last name.
It is also requested that you provide a brief biography for speaker introduction purposes. Your bio may be submitted at the conference as a separate file, using Microsoft Word .doc or .docx format with your last name-bio as the title for the file (For example: “Gallagher-bio.docx”). You may also send your bio as an email attachment to Susan Guynn at firstname.lastname@example.org. Providing a hard copy of your bio at the time of registration is also acceptable.
A computer with Microsoft PowerPoint (Windows version) and a projector will be provided for each oral presentation session. A total of 20 minutes has been allotted for each oral presentation. The duration of your presentation is expected to be approximately 15-18 minutes, thus allowing 2-5 minutes for questions from the audience.
Boards, easels and clips will be provided on site to hang your poster. Your poster size should not exceed 36"x48". For a list of poster presentations, please click here.
Each presenter of an oral or poster presentation may submit a manuscript or an extended abstract for publication in the conference proceedings. Manuscripts must be written in the style and format of the Journal for Wildlife Management (JWM), which is listed under the manuscript submission guidelines at: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/10.1002/(ISSN)1937-2817/homepage/ForAuthors.html
An extended abstract should not exceed 2 pages in length and must conform to the Journal of Wildlife Management (JWM) format.
Format / Requirements
Two hard copies of the complete manuscript or extended abstract and an electronic version saved on a USB drive or CD-R, are to be submitted at the conference. Manuscript or extended abstract must be submitted to the session moderator who will serve as the first editorial review of your submission.

The two hard copies of your manuscript or extended abstract and the electronic version saved on a USB drive or CD-R should be presented to your session moderator at the time you present your paper at the conference.
All papers submitted for publication within the Proceedings of the 15th Wildlife Damage Management Conference are subject to peer-editing. Session moderators will serve as initial reviewers of your manuscript/extended abstract. Additional reviews will be conducted by the proceeding editors. Editorial liberties will be taken where improved clarity is needed and/or style is incorrect. Authors will be contacted during the peer review process and will have an opportunity to approve suggested revisions.
Each registered conference participant will be mailed a copy of the Proceedings on CD as soon as it is published. Speakers needing reprints of their papers should have them printed by their own organization or by a local printer.
