Dr. Baker Sprowl coordinates systems for collection of data to achieve requirements for accountability documents, works with Public Service and Agriculture (PSA) Business Office to develop procedures for calculating the dollar value of Extension employees’ work effort, and develops and submits annual university, state, and federal accountability reports. She assesses the training needs of Extension agents. She developed and uses a competency based professional development model to train Extension employees.

Extension and Outreach

• Selected to participate in the CU Staff Development Program. Collaborated with University Associate Director of Sustainability to determine an appropriate method to share environmental sustainability information with students in the residence halls/apartment areas. Developed an evaluation instrument to determine if students gained enough information to make personal behavioral changes. Administered a sustainability assessment. Compiled and summarized the report, which was shared with units across the campus. Coordinated the Green EXPO, which was a part of the Clemson University Teach-In for Environmental Solutions.
