SCWAgN Conference Sponsorship

Dear Friends of Clemson Cooperative Extension, 

We would like to introduce you to The SC Women’s Agricultural Network (SC WAgN) by Clemson Extension. We have an overarching goal to provide all women in agriculture the tools and resources needed to grow their success, feel confident in their roles, and provide a functional network for women in agriculture across our state. Women in agriculture comprise more than 14% of total producers and are taking a more active role now than ever before in the day to day operations. Programs are open to all people who support the mission of the Network. Because of the growing number of women in active agriculture roles, we have set the following objectives. 

• Empower women to be confident, strong, stewards of the land.

• Provide unique opportunities for women in agriculture to expand their knowledge, expertise and experience in their role as agriculture producers, educators and professionals.

• Encourage networking opportunities by building a community of women ranchers, farmers, landowners, professionals and educators.

On January 19 and 20, 2024 we will be hosting the second South Carolina Women in Agriculture Conference in Florence, SC. During this conference, participants will be able to cultivate connections with each other, resource providers, and industry professionals. Friday, January 19 will be Pre-Conference intensive sessions at the Pee Dee REC and Saturday, January 20 will be hosted at the SiMT campus.
