Pesticide Recordkeeping

Both Private and Commercial/Noncommercial pesticide applicators may be required to make and retain records of or display information on their pesticide applications under one or more federal and state recorekeeping requirements.

Those applicators who need to keep application records must understand what a Pesticide is and what a Restricted Use Pesticide is.

While keeping records of pesticide applications is a regulatory requirement, there are several benefits to keeping good application records. In addition to the information required under the various regulations, applicators are strongly encouraged to keep any additional information on their pesticide application that is a benefit to them and also to customers.
