National Pecan Day

We celebrate National Pecan Day in spring with the ever-present pollen coating on our cars and patio furniture but alas, in the fall we will enjoy snacking on pecans that are raw, roasted or toasted; sprinkled over cereal; baked into breads; and nestled in warm ooey-gooey pie a la mode!

Clemson's Home & Garden Information Center has several publications for backyard growers from planting and fertilization to insect and disease control. Learn more about caring for your pecan tree(s) >
