Take Your Dog to Work Day

Did you know that a gram of dog feces contains an average of 23 million fecal coliform bacteria, some of which can cause diseases in humans. These bacteria contaminate water when they are carried off into storm drains, creeks, and lakes during storm runoff. Please protect our waterways and pick up what your dog leaves behind.

To learn more about these and other South Carolina issues, tune in to Your Day each Monday through Thursday at noon.

Each day’s program is different in content and format. Mondays offer a smorgasbord of topics ranging from economics to academics, from the performing arts to the culinary arts. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays the live discussions are listener-driven, when callers ask questions of experts in horticulture, entomology, birding, health and nutrition, science and technology, animal healthcare and natural resources.
