Vegetable production

In a normal production year, South Carolina ranks highly in national vegetable production. Tomatoes, cantaloupe, watermelons, and cucumbers typically rank in the top ten. South Carolina is also a leader in the production of leafy greens, including kale, collards, turnips, and mustard.
