Program -

Learn all about bees with a SC Beekeeper and an observation hive. Learn how important these creatures are to farmers, how they pollinate, make honey and participants will make a honeycomb candle on July 12 at the Bamberg Extension Office from 9:00-11:30. Registration includes supplies and a 4-H t-shirt. Ages 5-10 (5 year olds must have completed K5).

 

Tour - 

4-H Families are invited to join us on Friday, July 13 for a day at Bee City Honeybee Farm in Cottageville, SC. We will depart from Bamberg at 9:00 am, participate in a program at the educational center, pour honey in a honey bear and make a beeswax candle, then visit the petting zoo. Bring a bag lunch or order at the Bee City Café. Adults $4 & children 3 years old, Youth ages 5 and up $9.
