RECYCLING METAL PESTICIDE CONTAINERS
Many metal pesticide
containers could be reconditioned by drum reconditioners. Drum
reconditioners are interested mainly in the large 30- to 55-gallon
containers. Most specify that they be in good condition; that is, this
year's containers. Drum reconditioners also require that pesticide
containers be triple rinsed. A number of drum reconditioners in South
Carolina are willing to handle pesticide containers and will pay for
these pesticide containers.
