Lifelong Agricultural Learning

In South Carolina, Clemson Cooperative Extension staff supervise the state’s Agricultural Education programs. In addition to classroom instruction, the Future Farmers of America (FFA) is an integral part of high school agricultural education. The National FFA Organization remains committed to the individual student, providing a path to achievement in premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

FFA continues to help the next generation rise to meet those challenges by helping its members to develop their own unique talents and explore their interests in a broad range of agricultural career pathways. Through agricultural education and hands-on learning, FFA members are preparing for more than 300 career opportunities in the food, fiber and natural resources industries of agriculture. With more than 760,000 members, the organization has a history of service and a legacy of leadership.

In addition, the S.C. Young Farmer and Agribusiness Association provides lifelong learning for the agricultural community.
