Clemson University Cooperative Extension 4-H Youth Development uses a learn-by-doing approach to help youth gain the knowledge and skills to be responsible, productive and contributing members of society. This mission is accomplished by creating safe and inclusive learning environments, the involvement of caring adults, and utilizing the expertise and resources of Clemson University and the nationwide land-grant university system. Newberry County 4-H offers opportunities for schools, clubs, camps, and projects in animals and agriculture, natural resources, civic engagement and leadership, healthy lifestyles, and science, engineering, and mathematics.

22-23 SC 4-H Calendar
The SC 4-H club year runs from September 1 - August 31.


Membership and dues are to be submitted annually and online. The $15 fee is not prorated.
4-H age is determined by January 1 of the current club year (September 1 - August 31).
Members who join during the first month of enrollment will receive a SC 4-H t-shirt.
