4-H Presidential Tray Award

The 4-H Presidential Tray awards are designed to recognize the top four Senior 4-H Members who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in 4-H leadership, citizenship, and project work. Only 4-H Members who are National 4-H Congress and/or National 4-H Conference alumni, and who have not reached their 19 th birthday (as of Jan. 1) are eligible to apply. Applicants must submit a professional style cover letter and 4-H Resume to the State 4-H Office by May 1 st. Those teens submitting the 4-H resumes that are judged to be the best (receive the highest points) will qualify for an interview. Interviews will be held during the State 4-H Congress. The teens with the highest combine score (resume and interview) will receive the 4-H Presidential Tray Award and an educational scholarship.

 

Scholarships must be used for educational endeavors and must be pre-approved by the State 4-H Office. Winners will be announced during the State 4-H Congress. Recipients must be in attendance to receive their award.
