Why Support the 4H Annual Fund

4-H is one of the oldest and largest youth development programs in our nation whose success is largely due to public and private partnerships. The support of the government, corporations, foundations, and individuals allows 4-H to reach over 65,000 young people each year. In order to coordinate state 4-H programs and activities, private support is needed. While state appropriations pay for agent salaries in many counties, state dollars do not provide funding for most county, regional, and state programs or events in which 4-H’ers benefit.

Contributions can be designated to support a specific purpose that is important to you, or left unrestricted to be used where the need is greatest. Contributions can also be designated to your local county 4-H program.
