Exploring Lake Hartwell

serving 9-13 year olds of Anderson, Greenville, Oconee & Pickens counties

Activities & Skills

4-H2O camp engages youth in hands-on activities where they are exploring the outdoor world and studying their local watershed. Each day youth will learn about components that make up a watershed through science lessons, scientific equipment, and water quality testing.  We bring in guest speakers to teach about the lake systems or environmental careers, we get in local creeks to study macroinvertebrates and water life, and we learn about responsible water recreations (we swim and boat!)

Camp is held at Twin Lakes Recreation Area on beautiful Lake Hartwell as well as the SC Botanical Gardens on the Clemson University Campus.
