Activities & Skills

Learn where their Local and State Watersheds are located, ID water quality, and learn sustainable water practices. We will enjoy water-based adventures such as nature hikes, water bug collecting, checking water quality while kayaking, and making bird feeders from recycled materials.

You should also know...

Ssnacks and other goodies will be provided. Please be sure to bring all of these items to make this a positive learning experience:

  • Bug spray
  • Sunscreen
  • Lunch
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Clothes that can get dirty

Please do NOT bring:

  • weapons
  • lighters
  • jewelry and other valuables
  • elctronics games and devices
