Activities & Skills

Learning about the animals that lives along the boardwalk. Fishing skills, physical activities, nutrition will also be included. Learn about the brown river known better as Lyches River.  Water quality, learn about Macroinvertebrate and some craft.

You should also know...

Snacks and drinks will be provided. Please be sure to bring all of these items to make this a positive learning experience:

  • Bug spray
  • Sunscreen
  • Any medications that the child may need
  • Lunch  

Please do NOT bring:

  • Knifes
  • Cell phones

EMS will be put on alert that we are in the park for 3 days.

10:00-3:00 at Lee State Natural Area

Contact Darlas Moore at (803) 484-5416 for additional information.  The last day we will have a cookout for the children along with certificates.  If a parent or guardian is with the child on Thursday afternoon they may go swimming in the pond at the park.
