Passport Information

You need a passport book to enter Argentina. You should apply for a passport as soon as possible to ensure that you have this document for the study-tour. You can not enter Argentina without a passport. You should study the State Department website for all passport information.  Many U.S. Post Offices can help you with this application. Contact your local post office and ask them about applying for a passport.

To Apply in Person for a U.S. Passport You MUST:

1. Provide Application for Passport, Form DS-11 from the State Department website (the URL is listed above).  NOTE: Please do NOT sign the DS-11 application form until the Passport Acceptance Agent instructs you to do so.
2. Present Proof of U.S. Citizenship. A certified birth certificate from your county is needed to prove your citizenship.
3. Your valid driver’s license.
4. Provide 2 Passport Photos. You can get these photos from your local pharmacy or Wal-Mart.
5. Pay the Fee of $100.
