During this mission York County Youth in Action participants will learn more about animal protection and cruelty prevention. They will explore relevant policy issues such as the chaining of animals and meet with today’s York County leaders to learn about current pet protection challenges. They will also explore ways they can become leaders in protecting York County’s animals through a service project experience.
This YCYA mission will consist of 2 sessions. All sessions will take place at the York County Clemson Extension Office (120 N. Congress Street, York). Lunch will be provided.
Session 1: June 24 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Session 2: June 25 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Are you ready to act? To take part in YCYA 2009 you must fill out a 4H Event Permission Form and pay a $5.00 program fee.
