2013 Conference: Advancing Cooperative Extension’s Mission

The 2013 Clemson Extension Conference will be held February 4-7 at the Madren Conference Center and Inn, Clemson, SC 29634. All Extension employees with program delivery responsibilities are expected to attend the Conference. Exceptions due to conflicts should be approved by the employee’s immediate supervisor and communicated to the Extension Chief Operating Officer at 864-656-3382. You are expected to secure a roommate and to carpool when possible. You may complete a travel voucher as usual when you return home to cover your conference expenses.

Dress: Dress for most of the conference will be business casual.

Conference Objectives:

• To provide team-building and training opportunities for employees to become subject matter experts in their programs.
• To support innovative interdisciplinary and cross-program work in Extension.
• To provide competency based professional development.
• To provide opportunities to explore new tools and technologies that can be used to enhance the outcomes of extension programs.
