4-H Youth Development
Clemson Extension agents with primary Youth Development responsibilities work closely with state extension specialists and researchers located on campus and at the various research and education centers located across the state. They provide expertise in topics including animal agriculture and veterinary science, natural resources and the environment, gardening, leadership and citizenship, personal growth and development, and science, engineering and technology.

Abbeville County 4-H Natural Resources Club
- meets each month throughout the season: September - May
- open to youth ages 5-19
- youth learn all about wildlife and the great outdoors!
Abbeville County 4-H Cooking Club
- meets each month throughout the season: September - May from 3:30-5:30pm
- open to youth ages 5-19
- youth learn about cooking techniques in the kitchen
Abbeville County 4-H Livestock Club
- meets each month at 6:30pm at the Abbeville Extension Office
- youth study livestock and the livestock industry
- $5 yearly dues
Happy Hooves 4-H Horse Club
- meets on Sundays throughout the season: September - May at Shantara Farm
- open to youth ages 5-19, no horse experience or ownership necessary
- $15 yearly dues
- youth learn breeds, colors, anatamy, care, showmanship, horsemanship, and more

2012-13 School Clubs and Enrichment
In-School Embryology Project (incubator and eggs)
- contact us if you would like for you class to complete the embryology project with an incubator and chicken eggs
- classes must supply their own eggs, brood boxes and starter feed for any hatchlings
- incubators and turners must be cleaned before returning them to Abbeville 4-H

Bi-Lo Boosterplus - print this bar code, scan it with your bonues card the next time you shop at Bi-Lo, and from then until May 31 1% of all your spending will go towards Abbeville County 4-H.
2013 SC 4-H Shooting Sports Fundraiser - Sporting Clays Tournament to be held on Saturday, February 23 at The Clinton House in Clinton SC. Four person team registraion for $400. Individual shooter registration for $100. Lunch included. Deadline to register is February 15. Sponorships from $100-2000 available, due February 13. Thanks in advance for supporting SC 4-H Shooting Sports.
