Ag Heritage Center 4-H Animal Science Week
Come see the bees and bulls during Ag Heritage Center's 4-H Animal Science Week at Edisto REC in Blackville. Classes will learn about the life cycle of bees from a local beekeeper and find the queen bee in an observation hive, play the "Buzzy, Buzzy Bee" game led by Barnwell County Career Center Ag Students, make a honeycomb candle and go on a wagon ride to learn about the life cylce of cattle. Bring a bag lunch. Cost $2 per student. Program lasts two hours: 9:00-11:00 and 11:00-1:00 sessions. Open to second grade classes.
