FACE for Wildlife

Food And Cover Establishment for Wildlife, FACE for wildlife is an annual statewide contest co-sponsored by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR), Clemson University, and 4-H. In order to enter the contest, you must plant one plot and keep records on it for one growing season. You may win an award, but most importantly you will be providing valuable habitat for wildlife. Cost is $5 for 5 pound bag of wildlife seed. Open to youth ages 5-19.

Timeline

• Registration Due
• Take a soil sample & receive seed
• Plot must be planted
• Record Sheet or Record Book due to County Office
• State Judging
• Certificates and ribbons awarded
