The Bamberg 4-H Horse Club has been organized since the mid 1970's. The club hosts shows, fun days and trail rides to raise scholarship funds for club members to attend State 4-H Horsemanship Camp and other clinics. The club operates the Jim Thomas 4-H Horse Club Arena located on George Street in Bamberg. Since 2000, the club has been under the leadership of Volunteer Leader Rhonda Mixon. The club is open to any youth ages 5-19. Members do not have to own a horse to participate in club activities.    

 

Ronald Bunch Memorial 4-H Benefit Barrel Show

Established in 2010, this annual horse show honors long time supporter and friend Ronald W. Bunch, Sr. for his continued support of the 4-H Horse Program. The show is based on NBHA format.

NBHA Show 

Jim Thomas 4-H Horse Club Arena is located on George Street in Bamberg where the Bamberg 4-H Horse Club hosts NBHA SC District #4 shows during the year. Concessions available.
