4-H Livestock Showmanship Clinics

Youth participating in the Savannah Valley 4-H Livestock Projects can learn proper fitting and showing techniques from specialists from our state. Participants are encouraged to bring thier own 4-H project animals to gain handling experience.

Please bring containers to water animals and bag chairs. No meal or drinks provided.

Barrow Project-

• Do not bring barrows, some will be provided
• Will need to provide own show canes and brushes
• Wear closed toe shoes to get in the show ring

Poultry Project -

• Bring own chicken in carrier
• Blood test at 6:00 pm
• Bring a bag chair

Rabbit Project -

• Bring 4-H project rabbit in pet carrier
• Bring mat or towel for table
• Bring a bag chair
• Wear long sleeves

Goat Project - Kathy Davis

• Laurens County Goat Show same day
• assistance is available to individual project partiicpants
