4-H Record Books help youth set goals, track time and expenses and identify the knowledge and skills they have gained through 4-H. By setting goals at the beginning of the year or the project, youth will learn how to document skills gained and reflect on the experiences as a result of project work. 4-H Portfolios are designed to help Senior 4-H members prepare a comprehensive summary of their involvement in the 4-H Program and the impact it has made on their life. A portfolio is a collection of items and information that documents growth and achievement over a period of time. The 4-H Cover Letter and Resume will help Senior 4-H Members highlight their overall 4-H achievements.Youth will learn how to priorize and summarize their accomplishements while creating professional documents.
State Project winner Julie Moody will lead a workshop on how to do an award winning Portfolio and share her experiences attending National 4-H Congress. A 4-H Member will present a presentation and talk through the steps to putting an award winning presentation together.
