2005 Bamberg 4-H places 4th Individual high Score. Nine teams from area Agriculture Programs and 4-H compete in this third annual event on October 19. A Tractor Driving & Heat Safety Day was held at Edisto REC in Blackville prior to the contest.

2003 Bamberg 4-H was the only 4-H Team competing against sixteen teams from area Agriculture Programs. Bamberg 4-H placed 5th in the team competition on October 15. 2003 was the first year for the FFA/4-H Tractor Driving Contest hled at the Orangeburg County Fair. Edisto High School Agriculture Program coordinates the contest.

Participants must maneuver a 50 H.P. or less tractor and two wheel trailer 10' to 20' long with a pin hitch through a driving course designed to simulate actual farm operations. Open to to FFA and Senior 4-H Teams in South Carolina. Teams consist of three to four members. Top three scores will be counted for four member teams, all scores counted for three member teams. Contact your county 4-H agent.
