Jefferson Davis Academy 4-H Club is reorganizing. Depending on the program, club meetings have also been held in barns and on farms. The club meetings are conducted by club officers, a club member will present a demonstration and a speaker or an activity is part of a program. The club visited a greenhouse to learn about watermelon transplants, a commercial swine farm, a horse farm to learn horse conformation and how to age deer jawbones and score antlers. Since 2010, 4-H Volunteer Leader Brent Johnson has provided leadership to the club. The club is open to youth ages 5-19.
