4-H YOU CAN COOK! WORKSHOP
Chester County 4-H will offer a Cooking Workshop at FLCC on Friday, July 23 from 9:30 a.m. until noon in the Arts and Crafts room for ages 9-19. Cost is $10.00 per person. Each participant will learn to make several recipes, including bread, salad, and a main dish. The class will enjoy the meal together at the end of the session and each student will take home a recipe booklet. Please call the Center at 803-872-4491 to register today!
4-H DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
FLCC and Chester County 4-H will co-host a Digital Photography Workshop at the Center on Wednesday, July 21 from 9:30 a.m. until noon in the computer lab. Portia Smith, Winthrop University student, will direct and teach the program. Portia is interning with Clemson Extension this summer and is a photography major at Winthrop. Each participant will learn the basics of photography- how to hold the camera, how to compose a photo, and how to use your camera to its best. Participants should bring a camera if possible, but there will be a limited number of cameras that may be borrowed for the class. Students will take photos around Fort Lawn, will have them downloaded and critiqued, will choose one photo to print and frame, will decorate frame, and will take framed photo home as keepsake. Class session is $10.00 and class is limited to 12 participants. Please call the Center at 803-872-4491 to register today!
