Private Pesticide Applicator Certification Course

The Clemson Extension Service in Chester County is offering the initial Private Pesticide Applicator Certification Course. The course will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on May 19, 2010 at the Chester County Clemson Extension Market Building located at 116 Columbia Street, Chester. The cost of the course is $50.00 payable the day of the course. Checks must be made payable to Clemson University.

The course is designed for persons wanting to receive initial certification required to purchase and apply restricted use pesticides on land they own or rent used for agricultural production. The course is for those who have never held a private applicator’s license, not a recertification for those who currently hold an applicator license.
