Learn the basics of canning fruits and vegetables from local farms and home gardens. Courses are taught by Clemson University Extension agents and locations around the state. Classes will consist of lecture and hands-on experiences.
Pressure Canning Low Acid Foods
When: Tuesday Aug. 16th from 10-2; RSVP by Friday Aug. 12th
Location: Carol Ray Downing building at 509 Hubbard Dr., Lancaster 29720
This will be a hands on class and each participant will leave with a jar they helped can.
Bring your lunch, drink and snacks, an apron, and an oven mit (to carry the hot jar with)
