Welcome to Colleton County

Clemson Extension employs Extension Agents who work closely with state extension specialists and researchers located on campus and at the various research and education centers located across the state. Your local Extension Agents provide expertise in Agronomic Crops, Economic & Community Development, Food Safety & Nutrition, 4-H, Horticulture, Livestock & Forages, and Natural Resources.

Unique to the Colleton Office is Eat Smart Move More Colleton County (ESMMCC), part of the statewide Eat Smart Move More South Carolina initiative to fight childhood obesity. This pilot program is being funded through ESMMSC with funding from Blue Cross/Blue Shield. For more information on ESMMCC go to our county Programs Page and click on Food Safety and Nutrition.

Colleton County Farmers Market*:  506 E. Washington St, Walterboro, SC
Tuesdays:  2:00 pm until 6:00 pm
Saturdays:  10:00 am until 2:00 pm
*Master Gardeners will be on site several times a month.
