Clemson Extension employs Extension Agents who work closely with state extension specialists and researchers located on campus and at the various research and education centers located across the state.  Your local Extension Agents provide expertise in Agronomic Crops, Economic & Community Development, Food Safety & Nutrition, 4-H, Horticulture, Livestock & Forages, and Natural Resources.

Confined Animal Manure Manager (CAMM) recertification program will take place February 16, 2012 at the Dorchester County Clemson Extension Office, 201 Johnston St, Saint George.  Program will be from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. Private Pesticide Applicator Training and Exam (For Producers needing a New License), February 23, 2012 at the Berkeley County Administration Building located at 1003 Highway 52, Moncks Corner, SC in the multipurpose room.  Please call to pre-register (843)-719-4140 or (843)-563-5777.

Cotton Production Program – March 8, 2012 at Weathers Farm Supply located at 383 Cowtail Rd, Saint George, SC 29477.  Program will begin at 10:00am and will end with a sponsored lunch at noon.  Topics to be covered are Cotton Weed, Insect and Nematode Control and Variety Selection.  Private Pesticide Applicator Recertification hours have been applied for.  Please call Jonathan Croft at (843)-563-5777 by Monday March 5th if you plan to attend.
